Day 1: Arrival in Kraków
– Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
– Check-in at a centrally located hotel in Kraków.
– Free time – we invite you to take a leisurely walk around the city. You can stroll through the Main Market Square, admiring its historic townhouses, or relax by the Vistula River and soak in the city’s first impressions. It is also a great time to enjoy a coffee in one of the local cafés and prepare for the days of sightseeing ahead.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kraków

What you will see:
Wawel following the traces of royal processions and the Old Town.
The Royal Route is the most prestigious and historic path in Kraków, along which Polish kings once travelled during ceremonial entries and coronations. Today, it is one of the most interesting ways to explore the city, leading through its most important landmarks and sites of exceptional significance.
You will discover the most beautiful corners of the Old Town, including: Plac Matejki (Matejko Square), the Barbican and St. Florian’s Gate – former city fortifications, Floriańska Street – the main lively artery of the Old Town, the Main Market Square with the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and St. Mary’s Basilica – a Gothic church with the impressive altar by Veit Stoss, the Town Hall Tower and Grodzka Street, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Wawel Hill – royal tombs, the tower with the Sigismund Bell, and the Royal Castle.

Day 3: Visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine

The Tourist Route – the most famous part of the mine, featuring salt lakes, historic chambers, and the Chapel of St. Kinga.

The Miners’ Route – an active form of sightseeing, during which participants perform simple tasks and learn about the work of miners – details below.

In the evening, Kraków enchants with its unique atmosphere – a walk through the illuminated Main Market Square or Kazimierz district, combined with dinner in a charming restaurant and a tasting of fine wine or a signature cocktail, allows you to fully experience the city’s nighttime magic.

Within the sightseeing program of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, several routes are available:
Tourist Route
The most popular part of the visit, leading through a unique underground world carved in salt. Along the route, visitors can admire vast salt chambers, underground lakes, and one of the main highlights – the Chapel of St. Kinga, known for its extraordinary decoration and impressive scale.
Visitors also learn about the history of salt mining – they can see old tools and equipment used by miners and discover how salt was once extracted and transported. The route has an educational character but also showcases the most representative areas of the mine.
The visit is open to people of all ages and does not require special physical fitness, although it involves climbing over 800 steps.

Family Tour – “Following the Legends”
“Following the Legends” is a family-friendly version of the tour, combining the classic route with storytelling and puzzles. Participants embark on a journey through the underground world, discovering legends and stories connected to the mine.
During the tour, visitors explore the most beautiful chambers, salt lakes, and the Chapel of St. Kinga. A key element of the experience is the story of the mine’s spirit – the Skarbnik – who introduces participants to a world of myths and mysteries.
The route is designed for families and children, making the visit an engaging adventure experience.

Mining Route
The Mining Route is an active form of sightseeing where participants take on the role of young apprentices. Instead of a classic tour, they experience a real underground adventure with tasks and teamwork.
Participants descend into less accessible parts of the mine and, under the supervision of a guide, complete tasks inspired by miners’ work – such as measurements, map work, and simple technical activities. The entire experience is carried out in protective equipment.
At the end, each participant receives a certificate confirming participation in the mining expedition.

Graduation Tower (Salt Brine Tower)
The graduation tower is a relaxation area where visitors can breathe air enriched with salt aerosol. A walk around the structure helps clear the respiratory tract, relax, and improve well-being.
It is especially recommended for people exposed to smog, allergy sufferers, and residents of large cities.
